Afterglow (2025)
In July 2024, I curated and hosted Afterglow at Doublé in Bushwick, an exhibition featuring abstract and imaginative oil paintings by three emerging artists. The works explored themes of transformation, memory, and emotional intensity through vibrant color palettes and fluid, layered forms. While rooted in abstraction, each piece invited viewers to enter a distinct interior world—spaces where the boundaries between reality and imagination dissolved. The exhibition fostered an intimate viewing experience, encouraging slow looking and personal interpretation, and was complemented by an opening weekend of live performances that extended the show’s atmosphere beyond the canvas.
Queer Continuum (2024)
In summer of 2024, I had the pleasure of curating an exhibition centering queer photography at Brooklyn Art Haus, alongside friend and collaborator Jules Diaz Petta. The show focused on past, present, and imaginary futures of queer joy and belonging. The show included photo works focused on queer eroticism, alienism, intersectionality, nature, and community space. The exhibition was initially planned to coincide with Pride Month but was extended through the summer due to its positive reception and the continued relevance of its themes.
Gallatin Arts Festival (2023)
As a senior at NYU Gallatin, I joined a team of student coordinators in organizing the annual Gallatin Arts Festival, an exhibition and performing arts event centering student work. In this curatorial role, I conducted studio visits, assisted in installation, and collaborated with a team of curators in writing a curatorial statement for the festival over the course of a semester.
